FRIDAY FEELING

As for me and Friday

Nothing has changed since pandemic Covid-19

Not happy though

I smell the weekend afar

for the vacation is still ours

but  we are trapped

It began as prompted in dream

then I saw a flying virus unprompted

shaking the world to standstill 

again kept myself indoors

not because of the virus

but the insecurities that haunted me

It suddenly appeared

thank God it's Friday

each day's quarantine is Friday
